St klaas surprise, side-table cube

We have a family tradition of making nice stuff for each other at St Klaas, this year I made the following, a table cube of two side tables. maybe it will get you thinking about making something for someone else.

On one side is written Marianne Williamson's beautifull text:

OUR DEEPEST FEAR

We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous ?

Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.

It's not in some of use, it's in everyone. And as we make our light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
