I have built a Cularis electric glider (link) and to prepare myself for the first flight I also bought the Aerofly 5 RC flight simulator. (link). The complete equipment I bought on the internet, RC addict.
The Areofly simulator has a Cularis model and allows you to practice with your own remote control.
Enjoyed the build as much as the simulations, seems like a nice new hobby.
Today I had my first flight, it went without a hitch, even though conditions were not the easiest (Beaufort 3/4 and some turbulence, thanks to the mediocre location).
Did my first looping, steep curves, low passes and my first hand catch.
No problems with turbulence correction, or flying towards me.
Without a single problem, I could fly the Cularis!
