Hydrofoil Riva Style

Some new design work on the riva style hydroil. Bicycle style lean control.
These rendering also show my first tests of V-Ray for Rhino.

Motor hydrofoils

Hydrofoils are gaining popularity. Personally I like the sailing hydrofoils best.
But have a look at the some of the quirky recent motor hydrofoils.

Hydrofoil Riva style

One of the shelved projects/ concepts (1998) is this hydrofoil Riva style.

Carbon fibre hull and  foils.
The Hull wood veneered to give it the old style look.
Ride height control through feeler,
propulsion through prop,
or alternatively induction engine with nozzle propellor.
